Day 01 –Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi – The national capital of India. On arrival we will receive you at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02 – Delhi
After breakfast we would take you for a full day sightseeing of Delhi covering Laxmi Narayan Temple - a modern Hindu temple devoted to Goddess Laxmi and Narayana, India Gate - is located on Raj Path in New Delhi, Parliament House, Jama Masjid – largest mosque in India,Red Fort, Gandhi memorial, Humayun Tomb, Qutub Minar. In the evening return to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03 – Delhi – Jaipur
You shall drive to Jaipur after which you shall check in at a hotel for the night.
Day 04 – Jaipur
Enjoy full day excursion to Amber Fort, starting with a joy ride on an Elephant. Visit Sheesh Mahal inside also known as 'Palace of Mirrors' it is one of the most impressive sights in the Amber Fort. Later visit CityPalace– whichwas constructed by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh. It also house a sequence of gardens, courtyards and buildings with a mix of Rajasthani & Mughal architecture, Jantar Mantar - the royal Observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh, also drive past Hawa Mahal - the Palace of Winds - and visit the Bazaar etc. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jaipur.
Day 05 – Jaipur – Agra
Morning drive to Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri, Jama Masjid / The Buland Darwaza / Palace of Jodha Bai / Birbal Bhawan and Panch Mahal. On arrival check into the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 06 – Agra
Morning drive Agra, enrouting the tomb of Akbar at Sikandra. Arrive & check into the hotel.Laterwe would take you for a full day sightseeing of Agra which will include Taj Mahal– constructed by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in remembrance of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj has continued to be a mark of love since ever, Red Fort- is positioned in Agra, on the banks of Yamuna River. It is known as Red Fort because it is built of a kind of red sandstone. You can also visit inside some of the most beautiful structural designs of the Mughal Period PearlMosque, Moti Masjid, Diwan-i-Khas, Diwan-i-Am and Jahangiri Mahal. Also visit Itmad-ud-Daula's Tomb– It was built much earlier than Taj Mahal in 1622 A.D. The tomb is of particular importance since many of its design outshine the Taj. Later dropped to the hotel to enjoy on your own. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 07 – Agra/ Jhansi/ Orchha/Khajuraho
Transfer to railway station to board train to Jhansi. Arrive Jhansi, you shall be driven to Khajuraho via Orchha.
Orchha was founded by former Bundela chief Rudra Pratap Singh in 16th century. It is renowned for its graceful monuments, which exhibit unique and exclusive architectural magnificence. Visit Jehangir Mahal - built by Raja Bir Singh Ju Deo in the 17th century to honor the visit of Emperor Jehangir to Orchha. Raj Mahal - located to the right of the courtyard was built in the 17th century by Madhukar Shah. The simple exteriors, crowned by chhatris, give way to the interior of Mahal with wonderful murals, stronglycolorful on a range of religious themes. RamRaja Temple– an extraordinary temple, it is well known for its elevated spires and lavish architecture. ChaturbhujTemple - Built upon a huge stone platform and reached by a steep flight of steps, the temple was especially constructed to preserve the image of Rama that remained in the Ram Raja Temple. One can also visit LaxminarayanTemple& Phool Bagh – a garden. Later dropped to Khajuraho.Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 08 – Khajuraho
Today enjoy the sightseeing trip to the Eastern & Western Group of Temples.
Western Group: These groups of temples are completely Hindu, and represent some of the finest examples of Chandela art at its peak.
KandariyaMahadeo Temple- devoted to Lord Shiva. It is said to be the largest temple with 31 m high beautiful image of Lord Shiva which is overwhelming. Chaunsath Yogini – the earliest temple was built in 900 AD. It is made of granite & dedicated to Goddess Kali. The Chitragupta Temple is dedicated to the Sun God. The Vishwanatha Temple has some ancient sculptural details and within the shrine has a wonderful marble Shivalinga as well as a three-headed image of Brahma - the Creator of the Universe. The Lakshmana Temple is superbly decorated, while the Devi Jagdambi Temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali.
Other temples in the Western Group include the Varaha Temple with a nine-foot high boar-incarnation of Lord Vishnu, the Matangeshwara Temple with a eight-feet high lingam. In the South part of the temple it has an open air Archaeological Museum, which has a gorgeous displayed compilation of statues and friezes collected from the remains of long vanished temples.
Eastern Group: Situated near the village of Khajuraho, the Eastern Group of temples consists of the well-known temples like Brahma, Vamana and Javari. The group further includes Ghantai, Adinath and Parsvanath (Jain pilgrims) that are located near the Khajuraho Sagar.
Adinatha TempleThis temple is richly ornamented with delicate and pretty sculptures including those of yakshis. It is dedicated to the first Jain tirthankara (saint), Adinath and the Parsvanath Temple, the largest Jain temple, of the Eastern group. Parsvanath temple is devoted to Lord Parsavanath, the temple is ornamented with picturesque sculptures & has intricate stone carvings. GhantaiTemple- aJain temple famous for its astonishing frieze. This frieze depicts the 16 dreams of Lord Mahavira's mother in conjunction with a multi-armed Jain goddess mounted on a Garuda. Hindu Temples - Amongst the Hindu temples, the Brahma temple, the Vamana temple and the Javari temple are the renowned shrines in the eastern group.Overnight at hotel.
Day 09 – Khajuraho/ Varanasi
Arrive and get transferred to the hotel. In the afternoon take an excursion to Sarnath - about 10 km from the sacred city of Varanasi, is the place where Buddha chose to deliver his first sermon. There are many Buddhist monuments and structures in Sarnath. Some of the significant Buddhist monuments at Sarnath are the Dhamekha stupa, the Chaukhandi stupa and monasteries and temples. Numerous Buddhist structures were raised at Sarnath between the 3rd century BC and the 11th century AD, and today it presents the most expansive ruins amongst places on the Buddhist trail. The Ashoka pillar of Sarnath is the National emblem of India. Also visit SarnathMuseum - Numerous sculptures, arts, and other artworks on Lord Buddha are stored in the Museum of Sarnath. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 – Varanasi
Varanasi's principle attraction is the string of bathing ghats, which line the western ghats of River Ganges, enjoy boat ride early morning. After breakfast visit the Ghats, Tulsi Manas Temple, Alamgir Temple, Bharat Mata Temple. Later free to roam about. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11 – Varanasi/ Delhi
You shall be escorted by our responsible staff to catch a flight to Delhi. There too, you shall stay overnight.
Day 12 – Delhi - International Departures
You shall be taken to the International Airport and then take a flight to your homeland.
