Detailed Itinerary of Golden Triangle Tour With Kashmir

Day 01 – Arrive Delhi

Arrive Delhi – The national capital of India. On arrival we will receive you at the airport and transfer to the hotel.Golden triangle tour with Kashmir stars from Kashmir.
 

Later we would take you for a full day sightseeing of Delhi covering Laxmi Narayan Temple – a modern Hindu temple devoted to Goddess Laxmi and Narayana, India Gate - is located on Raj Path in New Delhi, Parliament House, Jama Masjid – largest mosque in India, Red Fort, Gandhi memorial, Humayun Tomb, Qutub Minar. In the evening return to the hotel.

Day 02 – Delhi – Agra

Morning drive to Agra. On arrival check into the hotel. Later, you will visit world–famous Taj Mahal built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj is a symbol of love and is eternal like love. American author aptly Mark Twain very rightly said of Taj that is a dew–drop on the cheek of eternity.
 

Also visit the Red Fort where you see magnificent architectural designs of the Mughal era. Inside, see the fantastic places like Pearl Mosque, Moti Masjid, Diwan–i–Khas, Diwan–i–Am and Jahangiri Mahal. Also visit Itmad–ud–Daulas Tomb built much earlier than Taj Mahal in 1622 A.D. which is prototype of Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal adds glamour to the Golden triangle tours itinerary.

Day 03 – Agra – Jaipur

Morning drive to Jaipur. En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, the capital city of Mughal Emperor, Akbar. It was abandoned after 10 years. It has numerous ruins of numerous monuments like Jama Masjid , The Buland Darwaza , Palace of Jodha Bai , Birbal Bhawan and Panch Mahal.

Day 04 – Jaipur

Enjoy full day excursion to Amber Fort, starting with a joy ride on an Elephant. Visit Sheesh Mahal inside also known as Palace of Mirrors it is one of the most impressive sights in the Amber Fort. The most fascinating fort you will see on any India tour.
 

Later visit City Palace – which was constructed by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh. It also house a sequence of gardens, courtyards and buildings with a mix of Rajasthani & Mughal architecture, Jantar Mantar – the royal Observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh, also drive past Hawa Mahal – the Palace of Winds – and the Bazaars, etc.

Day 05 – Jaipur – Delhi

Morning drive back to Delhi.

Day 06 – Delhi – Srinagar

Transfer to airport for flight to Srinagar. It is one of the most beautiful hill station tours India destinations. Srinagar – situated on the banks of Jhelum River is also once known as heaven on earth. It is also the renowned capital city of Jammu & Kashmir.
 

The city is renowned for its scenic Himalayan landscapes, impressive lakes that are surrounded by Shikaras and Gardens. Transfer to Houseboat. Day at leisure. Later enjoy shikara ride to Dal Lake – is famous not only for its magnificence, but for its liveliness.

Day 07 –Srinagar

Morning sightseeing of Mughal Gardens raised by Emperor Jehangir in remembrance of his adored wife. Also visit Nishat Bagh - Queen Nur Jahans brother, Asif Khan, positioned the Garden in 1633 A.D.

Day 08 – Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar

This morning you will proceed for a full day tour to Gulmarg – located at a distance of 56 kms for Srinagar & would take about 02 hrs to reach there. Gulmarg is also known as Meadow of Flowers has a fascinating hill resort situated at an altitude of 2730 meters.
 

The hill resorts in Kashmir are very popular with the tourist. From Gulmarg you can have a glorious view of Nanga Parbat which is one of the highest peak in the world. It also has excellent winter sports centre & moreover it also accommodate the worlds highest green golf course which turns into Indias premier ski resort in winter. Enjoy pony ride or Gondola ride (rope way) to Khillanmarg, Return to Srinagar in the evening.

Day 09 – Srinagar – Pahalgam – Srinagar

Today you will be transferred by road to Pahalgam located at a distance of 94 kms & would take about 3 hrs to reach there. On the way you will have a rare chance to view the beautiful Saffron fields. Also visit Avantipura Ruins which is eleven hundred years old temple of Lord Vishnu & Anantnag Sulpher Springs enroute.
 

Pahalgam is situated in the middle of high mountains, shimmering glaciers, gushing silvery rivers and thick pine and cedar forests, You can undertake many activities like taking walks, pony trekking, fishing, horse riding, skiing and white water rafting.
