DAY 01: ARRIVAL LEH
On your arrival at Leh airport, you will be received at the hotel and transferred to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel and feel at home. You have the entire day to get acclimatized to Leh climate. Overnight stay at Hotel.
DAY 02: LEH
After having your breakfast, you will embark on a fabulous tour of Thiksey and Hemis monasteries. If you visit thiksey early in the morning, you can witness the wonderful prayer ceremony. Afterwards, continue your drive to Hemis monastery, one of the most famous Leh monasteries. Here you can see numerous Buddhist caskets and ornate walls. Visit Shey Palace while returning. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 03: LEH – SPITUK - ALCHI - ULEYTOKPO
After having your breakfast, you will leave for Uletokpo. It is considered as the most scenic camping site in Ladakh. On the way, pay a visit to Spituk Monastery. Then, keep driving to Alchi Monastery. This is the only monastery in Ladakh situated on the flat earth. You will reach Uleytokpo around lunch time. Enjoy sitting on the bank of the river coming from Ridzong side. Overnight stay at camp.
DAY 04 : ULETOKPO - LAMAYURU - LEH
After early breakfast, you will leave for Lamayuru monastery situated at a distance of 180 km. You will reach Lamayuru via Khaltsi. It is majestic monastery built in 10th century and is the oldest in Ladakh. You will drive back to Leh in the late afternoon. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05 : LEH – CHUMATHANG – TSOMORIRI
After having your breakfast, you will leave for Chumathang. It is famous for a hot spring believed to have curative powers. A short drive from her would take you to Maha Bridge from where you will drive to Tsomoriri. En route visit Sumdah village and Tsomoriri is just 55 km from here. On reaching Tsomoriri lake is fabulous where you find many species of birds like bar-headed goose, crested grebe, Overnight in the tent.
Day 06: TSOMORIRI – LEH
After having your breakfast, you will visit Korzok village too see its houses and gompa. Then return to back to Leh. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.
Day 07: DEPARTURE
Early morning transfer to Leh airport to board your flight for your onward journey.
