Amazing Ladakh Splendor

Day 1:  Delhi - Leh   

On your arrival at Deli airport/Railway station, our representative would greet you and transfer you to the airport to board the flight to Leh where you will be received and taken to your hotel. The entire day is reserved so you can acclimatize yourself to the high altitude climate.  Overnight at the hotel. 

Day 02: Leh -   Alchi –Phyang

After having breakfast, you would drive to Alchi, one of the well-preserved famous Buddhist sites of Ladakh. You will have lunch at Uletokpo and then leave for Alchi monastery. The monastery has beautiful paintings of early Buddhist art. Also visit the village to see the typical rural day in the life of villagers. Stay overnight at the camp.

Day 03: Leh -Hemis - Thiksey - Shey  

After breakfast, you will visit the most famous monastery in Ladakh called Hemis Gompa. You will be impressed with the painted walls and Buddhist reliquaries. Visit the Thiksey Monastery perched atop a mountain from where you see the beautiful sprawling Indus Valley. Later, we proceed to Shey palace once used to be the summer palace of Royal family of Ladakh. Stok Palace is another abode of the royal family of Ladakh. The museum of the palace is full of antiques, heirlooms, artifacts of the royal family.  Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04: Leh - Local Baazar

After an early breakfast, you can move around the lively markets in Leh buying local artifacts and handicrafts from people.

Day 05: Leh

After having your breakfast, the entire day is free for leisure. You can go out shopping in the local bazaars. 

Day 6: Leh - Delhi

After early breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport in Leh for your flight to Delhi. You will always have the fonder memories of Amazing Ladakh Splendor with Indian Rove.  Our representative will meet you in Delhi and help you to transfer to the international airport for your flight to your onward destination.
